How I Was Thinking Had Me Falling Flat on My Face!

Hello Friend,

I was reflecting on something I did last week and I just had to share!

I was meeting with someone at 10:30 in the morning and then was going shopping! I knew I would be gone past my lunch time and could possibly start getting hungry at the time I usually eat which is around 12:30ish pm.

In the past when I was yo-yo dieting and overeating, I never would have given any thought to that.  I would just grab something or whatever. Actually the ‘whatever’ is what would get me into trouble because 

“IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PLAN, PLAN TO FAIL”

And that’s just what would happen. I would get entangled in that cycle of self-destruction, trying desperately to climb myself out of it to no avail.

I also wondered, ‘what was I doing wrong?”  

Then what would happen, I would just keep the spiral going!

I FELL FLAT ON MY FACE!  HOW LONG WILL YOU KEEP SELF-SABOTAGING UNTIL YOU FINALLY SAY ENOUGH!

Now, let’s come to the present moment and my meeting at 10:30 am.  I contemplated the fact that I would be gone way past my lunch time and I was deep in my knowing that that could lead to overeating.

I don’t care who you are, when you are hungry, you make poor choices.

I ALWAYS have bone broth on hand. It’s satisfying and has a significant amount of satisfying protein.  I grabbed my stainless steel hot/cold container, (available here) and poured my yummy bone broth into it.  It’s stays perfect in this special container that keeps hot hot and cold cold without having to worry about exposing it to extreme weather in the car such as when it’s summer and the sun is strong and the cold which could freeze things in the winter.   Also, toxins can leach into your water, smoothies, etc. in the wrong container, such as plastic.

I sipped it whenever I felt the urge to eat and got through the appointment and shopping without feeling ravenous.

BIG TAKEAWAY:

When we are hardwired to think one way, that’s what will we get!

So when I didn’t know better, I couldn’t do better.  All my thought patterns were wired in such a way that kept me in the cycle I was in.

As I started to switch out my operating systems, my thought patterns are such to bring my success and totally how the Light and Luxurious Woman operates!

It was a process of course that was well worth it.
